Environmental California shut down a Nuclear Generating Station, it was 14 years old, 900 mega watts, it was converted to solar that is now generating 4 mega watts. Can you believe the stupidity. Spending millions in subsidies the entire state generated less than 250MW from solar. They import 20% of their energy from Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado and Montana, which are coal plants. A large portion of their energy comes from Hydro power from Oregon,Washington and Hoover Dam by Las Vegas.
California power grid is not reliable, so business have moved to other states to have a reliable power grid. California wants people to think they are being so Green, shutting down the Nuclear plant, and not letting coal plants be built. I really can't see what they are proving, except that California has the highest electricity rate in the U.S.
In 2009 their Global Warming solution act will become law. They estimate it will cost anywhere from 100-511 billion dollars. The energy commission doesn't even believe they can reach the goal. I ask, why even try. Global Warming is a farce, drumed up by environmentalists, and the left. To control the engery, which will be control over the economy, which is totaly control over our life styles.
People, you better wake up. Global Warming is just a money making scheme, to get control. Do you really want the Left and Environmentalist controling our lives? The environmentalist would be happy if we would go back to the stone age, or better yet just dissapear completely. They say people are the unnatural in the natural environment. Elections are coming up, the next admistration will again tackle cap and trade. It didn't work in Europe, costing them millions of dollars. CO2 is not our enemie, the Left is.
