This was run in the Hutchinson news, on 8-15-08, and it was written by Paul Gibbs from Hutchinson, I thought it was priceless and made copies and sent it to all my kids. So enjoy.

On Hannity and Colmes (fox news) there was a story about actress Cate Blanchett saying she was going to "limit her hair washing" as her contribution toward the fight against global warming.
Another Hollywood actress advised she would limit her shower times to two minutes each to save the world.
Given these brave souls are making the ultimate sacrifices to rescue our planet from certain impending doom, I feel I must do what I can to help. I will abstain from changing my socks for six months thereby saving soap, natural gas and water. If this will stop our beautiful planet from bursting into flames and make it unnecessary to elect and environmentalist whacko Democrat in 2008, I'll bite the bullet

This is how stupid the whole Global Warming scheme is, the Left on one side and the level headed on the other side. Now Kansas is going to have an energy conference in Topeka in September. Well I called to check this out, it should be called, Global Warming hype and all it's wears! They are only having a one sided conference, James Hansen as the main speaker. That tells you exactly what is going to be preached. Town's will send representives to the conference, and of course the tax payers will pay for it. This is being put on by the Governors appointed people, which we all know which way she leans. I would like to see an actual debate with both sides present. Big Al has been invited to participate at several events but has always declined. He will only speak when he doesn't have to answer questions.
I suggested to have John R. Christy or S.Fred Singer, of course that was taken with a grain of salt. Both of these people have been in the field of climatology, Christy builds the models we hear so much about, he was also a co-recipient of Big Al's Nobel. Christy says GW is not a finished science as Al preaches, he says you can't predict with accuracey what will happen next week, let alone 50 years from now.
Heartland Institute has offered 225,000 thousand dollars to any one who can prove co2 causes GW. They have had no takers. Chris Horner, Dennis Avery and Vaclav Klaus have all wanted to debate Al, but he refuses. One could ask Why? Maybe he is afriad to face some one who is actually in the field and are scientist. This started with humor, so I guess I had better quit preaching. Have a good day.
