A true American.

Ion Mihal Pacepa wrote an article in the Wall Street Journal August 7,2007, that should be the basis of a history class.  He was not lucky to be born in America, but last July 28 he celebrated 29 years being an American citizen.  Jimmy Carter signed his request for political asylum, when he escaped from Romania with two death sentences on his head.

He tells how  it was his job to guide the intelligence community to hate and discredit American Presidents.  It began right after WW11, when President Truman set up NATO.  They used the reawakening in Europe to shift their hatred for Hitler over into hatred for Truman.  They labeled him the new occupation power.  The communist financed the leftist movement, he said they were like putty in their hands. It didn't take long to turn them around, they started beating their drums that President Truman was the "butcher of Hiroshima."  His job with the KGB did not end there.  They continued to smear other presidents.  Eisenhower as a war-mongering "shark" run by the military.  Johnson as the mafia boss who had bumped off his predecessor.  Nixon as a petty tyrant, Ford as a dimwitted football player and Jimmy Carter as a bumbling peanut farmer.

He told how they spread vitriolic stories around the world, pretending that America's presidents sent GenghisKhan-style barbarian soldiers to Vietnam who raped at random, cut off limbs, blew up bodies and other atrocities.  Yuri Andropov who dreamed up this plan said the U.S,. Citizens are more willing to believe smut than holiness.

Unlike Senator John Kerry, Pacepa tells because of their success, and the U.S. pulled out of Vietnam, which allowed the communist to massacred millions of people.  This lingers till today, American creditability gap between America and the rest of the world.

He says competition drives the engine fore ward, with the American dream, but unity in time of war has made America the leader of the world.  He says we are again at war, it is not the presidents war but America's war, authorized by 296 house members and 76 senators.  He said he feels if the Dems, and Rep. would join together as they did during WW11. America would win.

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi predicted before he was killed,"We fight today in Iraq, tomorrow in the land of the Holy Places, and after there in the West."

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown thanked President Bush for leading the global war on terror, he said the world owes the U.S. for its leadership in this fight against international terrorism.

Pacepa worked in the Soviet-bloc intelligence community, at a top level.  He knows of what he speaks, he can not believe such hate is directed at the President from political leaders in our own country.  Europe and other countries make up their opinion by what is said here in the U.S.  He feels we should return to the traditions of presidents who accepted nothing short of unconditional surrender from out deadly enemies.

He wrote a book "Programmed to Kill:Lee Harvey Oswald, the Soviet KGB and the Kennedy Assassination.  I wrote John Kerry and told him I thought it would be a good idea if he read the article, since some of his tales sounded like the propaganda that was spread by the communist. It is well worth looking up to read.

President Bush keeps campaign promice.

I wrote this article 6-1-07 and submitted it to the Hutchinson News, I really didn't think they would run it as written, but they did.

The Supreme Court upheld a law that was passed and signed in 2003, as promised by President Bush when he ran for office.

The ACLU tied this bill up for four years with the mantra of a womans right to control her own body.

A womans right to choose-have sex, the choice to be responsible and use protection.  This is where I get lost, where in the constitution does it give the right, through privacy, to commit murder?

For a long time Liberal politicians said abortion was nothing more than a bunch of cells!  The ultrasound proves the fetus is much more.  At seven weeks nerve cells have already crated projection that touch one another.  We know a fetus feels pain, sucks his thumb, moves his arms and legs.

The woman's life was always protected.  Why is the fetus not afforded the same rights.  I can not comprehend how anyone with a brain to think, can possible agree with live birth abortion, but Liberals do!

The fetus can not cry out do not pull my legs off, don't crush my skull and suck out my brain.  This is what the ACLU and most liberals are fighting for.  This is a womans right!?

The liberals are in full attack mode.  Elections are coming-know what a politician really stands for, not just what he says to get your vote. Where does a candidate receive money to run on, and for what reason.  Decide what is important, what you believe.  Decide just how important one little life is worth!

They ran that just as I had written  with all the descriptions.

Kansas is a good example of how money can direct and guide the political movement.  Our Governor and the ex AG both received much funding from Tiller the Baby Killer. Remember when you vote this will be one of the adjenda's that will be effected, especially with the Supreme Court appointments.

To laugh or to Cry!

I took my 88 year old Uncle out for a chicken sandwich.  A friend of his came in and they started to visit.  All of a sudden I thought I was in never-never land.

Here's their Theory-

Republicans hired Monica to entice poor vulnerable Clinton.  I guess this was the R wing conspiracy Mizz Clinton referred too. ha

Two people actually believing that fairy tale is beyond my comprehension!

Here's my theory-

President Kennedy had movie stars and professionals to the White House.Clinton the wanna be Kennedy just prayed on his young employees!  Makes more sense to me.

I had this in the Great Bend Tribune in 2007, I am not exactly sure on the exact date.

Dems at work against U.S.

This article was ran 8-15-07 in the Hutchinson News.  The non action we have seen from this Congress should be an eye opener.  They seem to find time to bring bills that do absolutely nothing, except add points from their left leaning liberals. Suing OPEC, the President, his cabinet at least when they are doing this nonsense work they aren't hurtling America.

What in the world can the Democrats be thinking of, except their own power!  We are in a war of survival, not just to win but to keep all of us safe.

President Bush implemented the Terrorist Surveillance Program after 9-11. The Democrats were well aware of the program; they had been briefed from the beginning.  When the New York Times exposed the TSP, the Democrats acted outraged-acted is the only word to describe their actions.  They knew of the program for six years, but said nothing.

Now,secretly listening to enemy phone calls, reading their faxes, e-mails and tex messages, the full data mining needed to keep us safe, is only one-third as good as it was before January.

The senatorial venom directed at Attorney General Albert Gonzales is nothing but vicious political theater at the lowest rung of the ladder: He is trying to keep in tact what is left of the TSP to protect the U.S. citizens which obviously is not what the Democrats wants. They want a trophy, no matter what it takes.  Under Clinton, the "wall" was put in effect.  No sharing information between agencies right here in the United States.  Who did that protect: crooks, criminals, low-life and of course, terrorists.

The programs President Bush implemented to protect us are in danger.  Why? Who are the Democrats trying to protect?  Who will they point their finger at if and when something happens?  Their reach for power has blinded them to what is needed for America.  Control over the enemy, who wants to kill all infidels, which will include Democrats.

This was written in 8-15-07.  The sad reality they still haven't settled it.  The Democrats don't want to give the telecoms protection.  I am sure that has a lot to do with the fact Dems, get a lot of money from Lawyers, who like to take everybody to court!  It is amazing how the safety of American citizens seems to take a back seat to their political adjenda!

This War is lost.

When the illustrious Harry Reid said that it finally dawned on me.  I wasn't sure how I felt about the war, I just felt we did need to do something.  This was is different than any other war we have been involved in.  We are fighting not just on enemy but pure hate. Not just because we are Americans but because we do not believe in their God.  The enemy is not selective in who they slaughter, even there own, if they dissagree in anyway.

We must realize 9-11 was not the first or will it be the last time we will be attacked!  As Americans we are a good people, but we have a problem with patience.  We want it fixed yesterday.  We must realize this was will be with us, as a way of life from now onl.

It is everywhere, England, France, Indinosia, Spain, and Africa.  Until the moderate muslim stands up to the radical, no one will be safe.  We can not stick our head in the sand and hide like we tried in WW11.  They knew what was going on but until they hit Hawaii, nothing was done.

So when Reid said "this war is lost," The Jidahas were jumping with joy.  God help us all.

American voters need to wake up!

This is inresponse to an editorial ran in our local paper in Great Bend,Ks.  Best paying jobs vs. lowest paying jobs ran 9-2-07.  Big suprise-education vs. no education.  Every dollar you save in taxes adds to that income statistic.

Two recent articles in the Wall Street Journal verified that the mantra for the last 7 years, Bush's tax cuts for the rich, is bogus!  The Regan economic philosophy of lower taxes, less regulation and free trade was a direct result of the strongest and longest worldwide economic expansion in history.

The rest of the world, from the Pacific Rim nations, Europe and even former Iron Curtain nations are adopting the Reaganomics philosophy. They all see the success that comes with tax reductions, economic growth that brings a fast pace of job creations.

The economy was in a downslide the last nine months of Bubba Boy's term in office.  The tax increases he supported were taking effect on the economy, on jobs, and it was not for the good!  As proven by the figures we now see again from the tax cuts President Bush immediately sought when taking office.

So with black and white evidence from not only the IRS, we have evidence in low unemployment, low interest rates and more revenue rolling in than ever before.  The new Democratic Congress can't wait to raise every tax possible.  Why?  This is a threat to our economy.

Wake up voters.  More taxes, socialized medicine and the safety of out lives is at risk!

Rebutle to Randy Scholfield articles in the Wichita, Eagle

The commentary in 3-8-08 and 2-17-08 written by Randy Scholfield, very similair with the same material.

The Kyoto Protocol was suppose to be the beginning of the great fix, and Bush bashing kicked in.  So lets look at some actual figures and not the usual hype.

Emissions from 1990 thru 2000 grew-but Clinton and Big Al were in charge.  From 2000-2005 America out performed the EU, but the EU emissions grew 3.8% but our emissions fell to 1.8%.  The EU have not released their figures as of yet.

The EU actually rose under the Kyoto and big bad America, not in the Kyoto, dropped our emissions.  The EU under Kyoto and a very expensive cap and trade increased, an expensive failure!

M.A.Kaufman, geologist P.E. reports CO2 are symptoms of warming.  "Medieval Warmings fron the 10th into the 14th century was not caused from CO2, but most likely the results in solar irradiance caused by changes in the sun's magnetic field."

This was the period when Greenland was free of ice and the Vikings settled there and hippos swam in the Thames, and industural CO2 wasn't around.

I wrote this article amd sumitted it 3-11-08 and it ran about a week later, but they left 2 paragraphs out.  The Eagle is deffinatley for GW, and run very few articles that contradict the warming hype.

Gore's global-warming hype a big cash scheme

This is the article I drafted from the 4 previous articles.  The Hutchinson News would only run one 500 word article.  They really didn't want to run it, I said they very seldom had  the other side to Big Al's hype.  It ran as a guest columnist 4-2-08 on the opinion page.

Al Gore bought carbon credits to cover his "global footprint".  Sounds impressive, but in reality, if I thought the earth was in such peril, paying to help maintain the Redwood Forest is a strange payoff.

When any claim is repeated over and over, the mantra seems to become fact.  One's rational thought and reason are "tweaked", and we just believe.

"Yes we are in a warming, but CO2 has not been proven as the cause," says John R. Christy, who is a partial recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize and a climatologist.

"Mother Nature simply operates at a level of complexity that is, at this point, beyond the mastery of mere mortals," says Christy, who believes Earth's climate cycles every 1,500 years.

In the 1960s, England was given a 50-50 chance of surviving into the 21st century.  Manhattan was predicted to become so polluted that gas masks would have to be worn.  Club of Rome predicted the Earth was failing from the weight of over population.  Dire predictions of global cooling came in the 70s.

Economist Julian Simon said all the predictions of the 60s and 70s were "globaloney."  Catastrophe global warming hype could fall in that category also, I say.

One-hundred scientist wrote the U.N. Secretary General on December 13, 2007 that CO2 is not a pollutant, it is essential to plant growth and that glacial retreat and sea rise are all within the bounds of natural variability.  Warming has leveled and since 1998 has not increased.  The Earth climate cycles, and everything has happened before.

The Kyoto Protocol was to be the beginning of the great fix.  Ten years later, with cap and trade system costing trillions, the European Union emissions have actually increased.  The great fix, making a select few wealthy, failed.

Economist Bjorn Lomborg said that the trillions spent on cap and trade could have bought enough nets to wipe out malaria, help curb HIV or even provide clean drinking water and sanitation, improve life for many.  Clear thinking is required.Kansas is in the spotlight because of the proposed Holcomb coal-fired power plant being denied air permits.  An environmentalist came to Hutchinson to do a presentation on global warming.  During the q & a period, I asked what had caused Greenland to be free of ice in 1126  so the Vikings could settle there.  The answer was priceless," That was then, and it has nothing to do with the present." My thought is that just maybe what caused it in the 10th through the 13th centuries is the same now.

Scientists use climate data model sets to compile information used for their theories.  The results are only
as accurate as the information fed into them.  Lomborg does not agree with the catastrophe hype that is so freely spouted.

Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius and her secretary of health and environment decided to clean Kansas air.  Holcomb was the first hit, even through it was going to include a bioenergy center and renewable energy.

Kansas has 90 feed lots with 6.4 million cattle.  Now that results in a lot of methane gas being expelled and urine soaking into the ground.  Methane is one of the components in the atmosphere that supposedly is causing global warming.  This makes one wonder just exactly how much concern there is for global warming, or just maybe the governor was trying to impress the environmentalists, the left and just maybe put a star by her name for the next administration.

The poor polar bear has become the symbol for global warming.  Environmentalist want them put on the endangered list, even though their numbers have grown.  Just maybe the environmentalists want the clout of the endangered list to stop the exploration of energy in the Chucki Sea.

Gore has made millions on his mantra, but he has not changed his lifestyle.  I guess he figures there are others who will bite the bullet to curb their global footprints.

The U.N. ,environmentalist and even some in Congress want to use the failed EU cap and trade.  We all need to learn about this enemy, global warming.  Is it real, can we stop it, or should we even try to stop it?  Yes, we should clean our environment take care of the planet God gave us.  More money needs to go into R & D so we can become energy independent, not because of global warming, but because it is what is best for the United States.

After reading, studying, talking to geologists, power companies and a professor: I have come to the conclusion we need to write our politicians and let them know it is OK to stand up and say that the "finished science" Gore preaches is in reality just a money making scheme.

Forth Article-Global Warming

I am confused, the governor of Kansas wants to increase renewable energy, 10% by 2010 and 20% by 2020.  So far in Kansas, renewable is wind farms.  This is a two fold goal, reduce CO2 because of "Global Warming" and to wean the U.S. from foreign oil.

Westar committed to 300 megawatts to be on line by the end of 2008, at a cost of Half Billion dollars.  The governor's spokeswoman reported "Electric utilities need to be compensated for costs of the energy they develop."   Now here is where their seems to be a problem.  Kansas Corporation Commission, appointed by the Governor want to revisit the agreement with Westar in two years and if the wind farms don't perform as they "hope", the KCC could impose a fine.  Just who decides "hope" in a measured term.  Westar also asked for a 1%  increase, which is actually only half what the Kansas State Legislature already allows, when they sought to encourage companies to make these costly investments.

David Springe, attorney for Citizens Utility Ratepayer board, said 2-11-08 in the Wall Street Journal "It is too risky for a public utility to own wind assets."  He must have changed his mind, because in an article 11-28-07 in the Wichita Eagle he stated that Westar was asking too much to cover risks in developing wind, "There is no risk."  That is an asinine statement even to just a 68 yr old person with a high school education.  I have never heard of a no risk business adventure, in reality that sounds a bit like a snake oil salesman line to me.

Governor Sebelius goal is renewable energy, the States policy advocates to supply energy in the cheapest form.  Federal reports estimate wind power will remain more expensive than- Suprise, Suprise Coal, natural gas and nuclear power.  I know government can be capricious, but this is more in line with total fickleness!  I am not sure what is really important to the Kansas governor, saving money for the tax payers, cleaning the environment to stop GW and impress the environmentalist maybe even a star by her name for the new federal adminstration she hopes will win the coming election.

One thousand One hundred and Sixty Seven, yes 1167 wind towers equal the out put of one stack at Holcomb.  Wind turbines only produce 40 percent of the time, remember they need wind,  It has to be blowing at least 4 miles and hr for the towers to kick in and if the wind is blowing over 40 miles an hr they automatically shut off.  In Kansas we have lots of wind, hard fast wind.

Last year wind grew in the US by 45 %, bringing 20,000 new jobs and lots of tax revenue, and also a lot of government incentivies.  New energy will think twice before coming to Kansas, when rules change at the whim of a few.  Why would any business want to take a chance that the rug could be pulled out from under them with no notice.  We have all heard the mantra CO2 must be curbed, we need to switch to alternative energy, but only not in my back yard.  People have even complained about towers would ruin the view in Ks, actually where would wind towers look more at home than in Ks!

The backyard turbines are smaller and very quiet, barley audible. It is an 18million dollar business, the biggest problem, home owners are faced with, restrictions from city regulations.  An excellent example of (not in my back yard), Nantucket, Mass a project on the board for seven years.  Only the select few have spent 20 million dollars to stop it, when 80% of the population are in favor of it.  I guess the aesthetic value of the pristine waters are more important than reducing CO2 or being able to become independent from foreign oil.  Kind of makes you wonder if the select few are buying "carbon credits" to cover their "global footprints", to be politically correct.

Actually we do need to clean up our air, we need to become less dependent on foreign oil, but not because of all the hype about "Global Warming:"  There are a lot of scientist who say CO2 is not our enemie and spending billions even trillons will not stop or need to stop CO2.Cap and Trade didn't work in the EU, but the UN and even our own Congress is discussing it.   It is a fact that cap and trade will do more harm to our economy, for a problem that isn't even proven to be a problem, and for a cause that hasn't been proven to cause GW.

I have come to the conclusion that Global Warming is Mother Nature just doing her own thing.  Common sense tells us that we are not big enough or smart enough to actually control weather.  We need to write our legislators in Topeka, and Washington, all state capitals, that it is political correct to say Al Gore's GW is just a money making scheme.  Like Lomborg pushes, help the poor do something that will actually make a difference, and not something to make a few powerful and wealthly.

Third article on Global Warming

If a catastrophe happens, we all know it is caused from Global Warming!  Fires, too much rain-too little rain, sickness, cold, heay, and the list goes on and on.

Last summer when California was burning, I couldn't believe they tried to blame it on global warming.  I lived in Southern California for over 20 years.  From my observation, a good deal of blame can be laid directly at the feet of environmentalist and Zoning laws.  Houses are built in pristine aera's, contractors and eventually the home owner are not permitted to clear away brush and undergrowth.  Now it doesn't take a genius to know, when the Santa Ana winds kick up, and they do every year, and a fire starts, and it always does, there will be much damage to property and even loss of life.

There are over 20 million people living in Southern California and the environmentalist say humans are the unatural in the natural environment. What would make them really happy, is if people just disappeared, but that is not going to happen.  Humans are the intelligent specie, God gave us animals to amuse and provide us with food and clothing.  God also told us to go forth and multiply and inhabit the earth.

Senator Dianne Feinstien, Democrat, believes the federal government should provide catastrophic insurance.  It's okey to build in unsafe aera's just let the american tax payer cover stupid decisions made by builders and people who want to live in aeras that have danger with them.

Global Warming is also the reason for more severe hurricanes.  The property damage increase proves the storms have grown more dangerous.  In reality the increase property damage is due to the fact more people have built close to the ocean.  More than half of the population in America live from Tx to Maine 50 miles or closer to the water. with property value of 7 trillion.

Gloval Warming is killing the polar bears because of the Artic sea ice melting.  The truth is, polar bears are thriving, the population has been increasing over the last 4 decades.  Part of the increase is due to improving conservation management and an agreement on trophy hunting to be limited.  Just maybe all this concern of the polar bear could be tied to the oil and gas leases in the Chukchi sea.  It is extimated to be one of the more promising energy frontiers of the Outer Continental Shelf.  If the polar bear could be added to the endangered list the environmentalist would have a better chance of stopping the exploration of energy.

                         Another RED FLAG!

The drumn beat of Global Warming causing more deaths.  In reality more people die every year from the cold.  The heat wave in 2003 in europe caused 35,000 people to die, but from 1998-2000 47,000 people died every year from the cold.  So actually global warming can save lives, and we will use less energy to heat our homes.  How often have you heard that good news?

Kansas is planning on building several new casinos, and the Governor has  already targated the revenue to pay for her programs.  I think there is a sayin "don't count your chickens before they hatch."   Another thought, the ad we see on TV about the wind farms are  better because they don't pollute, but the new energy plant propsed would actually send 80% of energy out of the state, and of course we would be left with all the pollution.  Just maybe the extra electricity will be needed for all the lights, whistles, and bells for the slot machines in the new casinos!  Oh, but of course the new casinos will probably be green, to cover their global footprint, Al Gore's favorite saying.

Remember the 6,400,000 cattle in the Kansas feed lots from last year, it is really hard to believe we eat all that meat here in Kansas, I would venture a bet that most of it gets shipped elsewhere.

Going "Green" is a big buzz word.  Big Al has joined a firm in Silicone Valley, Ca.  the comment has been made if big Al had been hired for all his knowledge about global warming or maybe they thought he would have pull with his old cronies in Congress to get a lot of the grant money being given out to  produce green products..

                      Follow the money-RED FLAG!

Big Al has made millions touting his gloval warming mantra.  Now Congress is working on bills to use cap and trade, which failed in the EU with the Kyoto Plan..Why would we want to do the same thing here?  In reality it is a tax that nobody can really explain, but the left see it as a way to control our energy, thus the American people.

Lomborag stresses we need clear headed thinking to work on actual problems and quit all the hype and scare mantra.  Espically since last year was the coldest year and actually wiped out the temperature rise we have experienced.  Kind of sounds like just maybe Mother Nature has changed her mind!

    More good news!

Second Article- Global Warming Facts or Hype?

Bjorn Lomborg once belonged to Greenpeace, now he is critical of how environmental organizations make selective and misleading use of scientific evidence.  He stresses the need for clear headed prioritization of resources to tackle real, not imagined problems.

Lomborg is not a climetologists, he is an associate Professor of Statictics in the Department of Political Science, University of Aarhus, Denmark.  All the facts he uses in his book are backed up with notes to varify the statictics he uses to make his points.

The presentation from Will Steger and J Drake Hamilton in Hutchinson, Feb11,2008 at the Fox.  They were brought to Kansas because of Sunflower Electric applying for permitts to enlarge and build a bioenergy center.

The showing of the poor polar bear and the penguins.  Stressing the Artic melting, greater in 07 than at any previous recorded time, but their is no mention of the largest increase of ice in Antartica in the same period.   Also records have not been kept that long for comparison data.

An article in the Wall Street Journal 12-26-07 questions the intense effort under way to stem the impact of greenhouse gases.  There are many more than just CO2.  David Whitehouse wrote on the web site of the "New Statesman", a British weekly, that temperatures have leveled off.  In other words, he says global warming has ceased.  He feels it is vital that they find out what is happening, or risk billions of dollars on the wrong solutions.  This sounds like affirmation of a letter sent to the Secretary General of the UN that was signed by 100 scientists from 21 countries.  They also believe in the cycle-warming and cooling, a cycle that has been repeated before.

"Unstoppable Global Warming" a book given to all the Kansas legislators.  This also suggest the 1500 yr cycle.  John R. Christy, one of the scientist is the other half of the Nobel Prize also believes in the natural cycle of warming and cooling every 1500 yrs.

Lomborg attacks many of the UN IPCC report findings.  In his book "The Skeptical Enviornmentalists" he explains how they come up with their data.  I was very suprised how they round off numbers-up, totally depend on models, where in reality the data is only as good as the information that has been put into the computer.  Clouds and Percipation are not figured in, because they don't know how to complete finding so they can add it to the data.  Their use of the word, assume is used way too much.  We all know what assume actually means.

                        Another Red Flags!

At the presentation of Global Warming they had a q&a.  I asked them what they thought about Bjorn Lomborg, their only comment was, he is not a climatetologist.  Well I thought neither is Al Gore!  They wouldn't comment on John R. Christy, remember he is in the other half of the Nobel Prize.   In an interview he stated Al Gore thinks GW is a 'settled science'!  He has been in the field, actually builds Models, worked for 40 yrs and he knows you really can't accurately predict what is going to happen next week.   He also feels way too much hype used as scare tactics are being floated around.

A scientist in the field saying what Big Al preaches is not accurate.  I believe they came to that same conclusion in England, when they took Big Al's book to court and found 11 things that would have to be used with a disclaimer!

Well here's a really big Red Flag!!!!!!!!!!!

Governor Sebelius and her Health and Enviornment Secretary Ron Bremly are so conserned for air quality in Kansas.  So they want to stop the expansion at Holcomb, a plant that wants to invest in renewable energy, Methane, Ethanol, Biodiesel and a R&D in Algae.  Algae has been in R&D at National Renewable Energy Laboratory and also at Nasa.  The production of algae is viable, one acre of soybeans will average 50 gallons of biodiesel, one acre of algae can average around 8-10 thousand gallons a year.  Also in their expansion was the building of transportation of the energy from the wind farms.

Was the reality really about concern of air quality for Governor Sebelius, or just maybe making a name for her self in the political field  and also a green flag from the environmentalists.

Another one of those nasty Red Flag!!!!!!!!!

In Kansas we have 89 feed lots, most of them in the south west corner, same aera as the Holcomb plant.  In 2007 Kansas was the home to 6,400,000 cattle.  Now, that is a lot of menthane gas being expelled and urine soaking into the ground.  Methane is a gas, one of many that are in the "Global Warming" mix.  I repeat again it is a gas.  Where are the concerns for clean air, and even water?  Sebelius also was upset because the expansion of the Holcomb plant energy would only need 20%  now of the new energy and  that the rest would be sold to other states.  I would almost bet all those cattle are not consumed in Kansas.

This is a really big Red Flag!

March 3,2008 on the early news on Fox, Dan Gainer announced a climate change conference  that was begining.  Big Al was invited, but declined to participate.  Seems like Big Al only speaks when he doesn't have to answer questions.

Gathering a whole lot of Red Flags!

I do believe we all need to appreciate the planet God gave us.  The tons of trash should be recycled, and what can't should be eliminated.  Saying no to oil and coal because of pollution is ludicrous.  We need to develop our own resources and work on making them cleaner. Renewables brings a warm fuzzy feeling, especially to the Left and the enviornmentalists.  But reality is they can never replace or should even try to replace coal and oil. We also need to build nuclear facalities, drill for our own oil and become energy independent.  It is possible, but we need to take back control from the left and the radical environmentalists.   Let the American dream take control and we will see nothing is impossible.

Facts as I see them on Global Warming

I originally wrote 4 articles on GW, but when I took them to the Hutchinson, News I was told they
would only run 1, 500 word article.  Here following are my originally.

In 2008 we are hearing daily of the catastrophe predictions in weather change, rising of the seas, drought, more and bigger storms, and the list goes on and on.
When any claim is repeated over and over, even with no solid evidence to back up the claim, it becomes fact!  One's rational thought and reason is "tweaked", and we just believe.

The new mantra we are hearing is CO2 and GW.  Al Gore say's it is a finished science, John R. Christy a climatolgist, and in the other half of group that received the Nobel with Big Al, says yes we are in a warming, but it is not a proven fact CO2 is the cause.  He believes the earth goes through a warming and a cooling every 1500 yrs, this all has happen before.

If you are old enough to remember the 60's, there was a trendy movement, where people wore a botton that said "stop the world I want to get off."  A group of scientist named "Club of Rome" believed the world was being weighted down by over population.

Paul Ehrlick's book "The Population Bomb", written in 1968 was giving England a 50-50 % chance of surving into the 21st century.  An education film of the 60's showed life in Manhattan being so polluted that the population would have to wear gas masks.

There were dire predictions in the 70's of Global Cooling- Yes Cooling.  In 1980 Jimmy Carter released "Global 2000 report".  It stated how the world was becoming worse everyday, we were running out of foof, water, minerals, forest, and energy for us to survive.

Does any of this doom and gloom sound familair?  We now have a new "enemie", Global Warming.
Julian Simon told anyone who would listen that all the predictions in the 60's and 70's were globaloney.  It turned out he was right, but he never received an award.  Paul Ehrlich, who's every prediction was eventually proven wrong, he won a Mac Arthur Foundation "genius award".  Herman Kahn challenged all the "settled sciences" in the 70's to understand all the hype was just hype.  Now we are hearing the "settled science" of GW, the familair ring of doom and gloom.  Big Al's drought, famom, sea rise and increase deases.

Heartland Institute issued a  challenge-"Anyone who can prove CO2 causes GW would win 225,000.  So far they have had no takers.  They have also issued a debate challenge to Big Al, but he refuses.  Why?

When GW became a debate between the Dems and Rep., I couldn't understand why.  If the earth is in such peril, why political?

                    A little red flag!

When Big Al accepted his award for his movie "An Inconvenient Truth", I found it quite telling that he bought "Carbon Credits" to cover his "global footprints."  That sounds impressive, but if someone truly believes the world is in such peril, he would do more than buy credits.  Than again a select few can buy credits, and every one else can make the sacrifice and deal with the dramatiac life style changes that are to be made.

My little red flag just got a little bit bigger!

Now we have all this new vocaulabary, all the trendy catch words, Cap & Trade= actually big money $50-$300 billion floating around.  $50 on a ton of carbon, .50 cents added to gas tax.  The sad truth, all this won't stop GW, it maybe could slow it down a couple years.

Remember that saying "follow the money"   BIG red flag.

The Kyoto plan was supose to be a start.  Actually CO2 has increased in the EU, while the US has dropped, doing this voluntary for the US,  Cap and Trade in the EU is very costly and proven it doesn't work.  This is the same program the UN wants to push, and now even our own Congress is working a bill through to implement cap and trade.

Can't Congress see the big RED FLAGS!

Should just maybe an open dialogue between Big Al, environmentalist, and the 100 scientist who wrote the Secretary General of the UN, Deacember 13, 2007.  These scientist stated CO2 is a non-polluting gas that is essential to plant photosynthesis, and the approch the UN is taking will actually increase human suffering from future climate change.

The phenomina such as glacial retreat, sea level rise, and imigration of certain species.  All these events fall with in the bounds of known natural variability.  The record rise per decade also falls into the natural rated of warming and cooling over the last 10,000 yrs.  Suprising fact, there has been no warming since 1998.  The temperature had plateau following the 20th Century warming, which they feel is just climate cycling.

They also state the Kyoto Protocal is a faliure.  The EU CO2 trading market is costly and ineffective. The natural climate change should be addressed, to help the most vunerable citizens to adapt.  Tl try and prevent climate change from occurring is ultimately futile.  One hundred scientist from 21 countries signed this letter.  Their observation to help the poor follows Bjorn Lomborg evulations.

Lomborg is an Economist and compared the dollar value of benefit to help or use more money to try and stop Mother Nature.  Is Global Warming happening- Yes.  Is CO2 the cause, they actually don't know.  We mortals can't stop Mother Nature.

I had been reading everything I can find on global warming, so when Hutchinson was having a presentation from Will Steger and J Drake Hamilton at the Fos, I went.  If I had not been studying ''The Skeptical Enviornmentalist" by Lomborg.  I would have believed at the end of the presentation we were going to burn up or drown soon.  On the q&a I asked what had caused Greenland in 1126 to be free of ice so the Vikings could settle there.  The answer was very telling "That was than and it had nothing to do with the present."  There was no CO2 problem back than, just maybe what caused it than is causing it now.

                           Great Big RED FLAG!

Here again maybe it is just Mother Nature doing her thing.  We need to do all we can to clean up pollution, but it shouldn't be done so a select few can become wealthly with solutions like cap and trade.

I will be covering more information from Bjorn Lomborg, who seens to have a handle on a better way and more effieient way to spend tax dollars.

America Wake Up!

This is my second time to post on my blog.  I have so much to say I don't know where to start.  I was given a computer a couple weeks ago, I am really not able to get around the net to good.  I look and read and than forget how I got to a certain site.  Really frusturating!  My neighbor sent me a posting from Jay Leno, he spoke with sincere love for our country, really suprised me.  He is not a friend of the Bush admistration, but he was very fair and spoke the truth, every one should read his words.
